Clydes of Georgetown in Washington, D.C.

There were two things that became sacred to Clyde’s: their original oak bar and great food. The quality of Clyde’s menu as well as the preparation of its dishes set Clyde’s apart as the Georgetown saloon soon became famous for its burgers, zesty chili and Sunday brunch. To keep our flagship a favorite among its loyal patrons, the property underwent a decorative makeover in 1996 where cozy booth seating, a lovely French limestone fireplace and antique aircraft and sporting memorabilia gave “the original” a fresh face.
